What is Net-POS VoIP phone (NPVoIP) ?
NPVoIP is a phone service offered by Net-POS Inc. that is an alternative to your traditional phone company. It allows you to use a telephone and broadband Internet connection anywhere in the world to make and receive calls. Since calls route through the Internet, the costs are less and the rates are lower.
NPVoIP includes great calling features such as VoiceMail, call waiting, caller ID, 3-way calling, and call forwarding.
NPVoIP can be used worldwide. You will have a NPVoIP phone number, which can be a local U.S. phone number, a U.S. toll-free number, or a U.K. toll-free number (soon other European locations). You can choose the type of number you have, regardless of where you live. See how your NPVoIP number can allow your friends and family to call you for less. To use NPVoIP, you need to have:
 
• A Telephone Adapter (available for $129 when you sign up)
• A broadband Internet connection (DSL, cable, T1, or satellite)
• A telephone set (cordless or wired)

Managing your account online
You can log into the NPVoIP account center for a summary of your account, recent calls, and recent transactions. You can also listen to your Voice-Mail messages, manage your feature settings, and update your account information.
Getting started
To get started with NPVoIP, you need a broadband Internet connection, a telephone adapter (which you purchase through Net-POS) and a NPVoIP account.
Setup is simple. Plug your phone into your telephone adapter and then plug the adapter into your broadband router -- when you pick up the phone, you will hear a dial tone!
